We are starting the new year off right with a study of the principles of VISION. If people perish for lack of vision it makes since to get to the bottom of why people are lacking in vision.
I don't know about you but this series is really blessing me. Just a quick recap on the firs the principles then we'll move on to principles 4-6.
Principle #1 - Be directed by a clear vision - Don't be what I call a lazy visionary. Make your vision as clear and as detailed as possible. Even if some parts of your vision seem to be far fetch remember the source of the vision is God and nothing's impossible for Him. In Part 2 of this series we spent time on principles 2 & 3. Principle #2 - Know your potential for fulfilling vision - Since God is the source of the vision, know that He has already equipped you with what you need to fulfill the vision or He'll provide the necessary resources as they are needed. Principle #3 - Develop a concrete plan - The vision comes from God and the plan is up to us. The Bible says the "Step of a good man are ordered by God," but if you ain't stepping God ain't ordering. You have to put a plan together and take action and God will guide you along the way. Principles 4-6 for Fulfilling Vision
Principle #4: Possess the Passion of Vision - Do you know any successful people that aren't passionate? Me either! Passion is a critical component for success and quite frankly without it, you will NOT succeed. Below are a few take-aways from Dr. Munroe's book "The Principles and Power of Vision."
Principle #5: Develop the Faith of Vision - This is very difficult for most people. They simply can't find it in them to believe what God has shown them. It's evident in their lack of action. Because we believe theirs a paycheck at the end of the week we go to work and do our jobs without hesitation. However, if we had any doubt in whether a pay check would be there chances are we wouldn't show up. We don't show up for our visions because we don't believe. Check out these key take-aways.
Principle #6: Understand the Process of Vision - Whenever you're learning something new you understand that there is a learning curve involved. You may get frustrated in the beginning but you know if you keep at it you'll eventually get it. Many people don't know that there is a process involved when it comes to vision. This lack of awareness is causing far too many people to quit on their visions, not knowing that if they just keep at it, they'll get it.
